Chargeback Policy

At Jasmine Rice Thai Chinese, we are committed to delivering quality food and service. We strive to resolve any concerns through open communication and fair refund procedures. This Chargeback Policy explains our approach to credit card disputes and the steps both parties are expected to follow before initiating a chargeback.

1. Request Resolution First

Customers are required to contact the restaurant directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback with their credit card provider. This includes concerns related to:

Food quality or taste
Missing or incorrect items
Delays in service or delivery
Unauthorized transactions

We will always work with you to address any valid concerns in good faith, in accordance with our [Refund & Return Policy].

2. Refund Eligibility Conditions

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

The issue is reported within 24 hours of the transaction.
The food is returned to the restaurant if a full or major refund is requested (especially for orders $25 or more).
There is clear documentation (e.g. receipt, order details, photos if applicable).

Refunds are not granted for:

Consumed or discarded food (especially more than 20% eaten)
Orders with guest modifications that were fulfilled correctly
Personal taste preferences after customization
Complimentary items or expired promotions

3. Chargeback Abuse Notice

Initiating a chargeback without attempting to resolve the issue with us first may be considered fraudulent behavior and will be contested.

We reserve the right to submit the following documentation to your bank during dispute resolution:

Order and payment records
Customer communication logs
Refund offer details (if any)
Delivery confirmation and receipts

Abuse of the chargeback process may result in:

Permanent banning from future orders
Legal follow-up for recovery of losses
Reporting to fraud prevention databases

By placing an order through dine-in, takeout, delivery or online ordering platforms, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Chargeback Policy and our Refund & Return Policy.
